Baskerville Raceway with Porsche Tasmania and Mark Galer

On a sunny spring day on 13 October, HPS hired Baskerville Raceway for an event run by Sony Ambassador Mark Galer. Mark gave an interesting and inspiring presentation about photographing fast movement, which was followed by a practical motor-racing shoot at the raceway.

The Porsche Club Tasmania celebrated it?s 70th anniversary on this day with a gathering of 70 vehicles, and posed for some still images on the track followed by a few hours of driving laps. Baskerville Raceway provided a great opportunity for HPS members, with full access to the
vantage points around the track which are generally reserved for professional photographers on race day.

This was a great event which provided the chance for most members to try out some new skills.
