Our Club
The Hobart Photographic Society (HPS) is based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Our aim is to promote photography and to assist our members in achieving their photographic goals in whatever field of photography they choose.
On April 9, 1968 a group of people interested in forming a camera club met at the Bellerive Library Hall in Cambridge Road and the formation of a club was discussed.
The club has regular meetings and excursions, with something to offer for amateur and professional photographers across all genres.
