2023 Photography Exhibition Wrap Up
Hobart Photographic Society’s 2023 Photography Exhibition is now Closed
Ashlie Hill, President of the Hobart Photographic Society would like to thank all those people that attended and made possible the 2023 Photography Exhibition. The feedback we received from those that visited was extremely positive and most people were impressed by the high quality of the images on display and the talent shown by the photographers. I would particularly like to thank all of our sponsors, the Right Honourable, The Lord Mayor of Hobart, Councillor Anna Reynolds who opened the exhibition, the people who made donations and purchased raffle tickets, the contributors of the prints and digital images and the many volunteers from the Society that helped organise and staff the exhibition. My heartfelt thanks goes out to all.
Judging of Hobart Photographic Society’s 2023 Photography Exhibition
The results of the judging for the Hobart Photographic Society’s 2023 Photographic Exhibition is expected to be announced after the third week of April 2023 together with uploading a gallery of the prints on display at the exhibition.
People’s Choice Award
Members of the public had the opportunity to vote on their three favourite print images at the exhibition. The people’s choice awards are expected to be announced after the third week of April 2023.

Raffle
The winner of the raffle was drawn tonight (29th March 2023) and the winner is Jill Appleyard. Jill wins the print entitled “Wombat” by Alistair Luckman, one of the many prints on display at the exhibition. Congratulations to Jill and many thanks to all those that supported the raffle.
Purchase of Prints
A number of the prints on display were sold. The purchasers will be contacted and arrangements made for printing of the prints and delivery is expected by the end of April 2023.
