On the agenda…

Simon Olding

The first speaker for the night was Simon Olding from Full Gamut who gave a very informative talk on all things printing. This included types of printers, colour management, monitors, how to resize your image, and types of printing papers. Simon also holds workshops for those wanting to learn more – join the wait list at the Full Gamut website. Andrew Wilson

Our next speaker was Andrew Wilson, author of ‘Old Sea Dogs of Tasmania’. This was Andrew’s second time speaking to the Club and he provided an update on his latest project, a book on the Sydney to Hobart yacht race and the people and faces behind the event. Larry Taylor

One of our overseas members, Larry Tayler, visited again and gave another wonderful presentation of his street photography works. The
presentation was titled ‘The not so mean streets’ and took us on a journey to Canada, the United States and Australia. Thank you Larry, we look forward to seeing you on another future visit!
