About us
The Hobart Photographic Society Inc. (HPS) is a camera club based in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The club was incorporated in 2006.
The club aim is to promote photography and to assist our members in achieving their photographic goals in whatever field of photography they choose. We offer many ways of improving photographic skills to our members. We are not just an online photography club, we hold monthly meetings as well as regular excursions and social nights.
Whatever your photographic interest, there will be something for you here!
Membership is open to anyone interested in photography, irrespective of skill and experience. Beginners are especially welcome. We conduct excursions, workshops, competitions and exhibitions. The club also has many sub-groups which focus on various areas of photography interest.
