On the agenda…

Life Member, Mike Calder outlined how he undertook the transition to operating a small business based around production of various cards and other gift material utilising his photos taken within Tasmania.

Mike experienced some ups and downs during the growth of the business but hard work and ensuring personal contact with his clients smoothed out the ride to where Mike is now operating a great small business utilising his photography passion.

Chris provided six of her favourite photos.  Chris is passionate around photography of rock patterns and loves the Australian outback for its beauty and photographic opportunities.

Danny also provided some of his favourite photos.  Danny spends much of his photography life around the athletic scene photographing runners including track, road and cross country.  His services are now in demand by runners (who like the photos where both feet are off the ground).

Jim presented the results of the monthly print challenge (animals).  Jim is stepping down from his role as Print Challenge Master handing over the baton to others who will ensure a 2020 print challenge.

Andrew presented the October digital challenges – open theme and “urban life”.  The high quality of photographs was again to the fore.
