Guest speaker
AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year, Matt Palmer, gave an interesting presenation on the AIPP awards, the inspiration behind his winning images, and his recommendations for people entering awards.
It’s always a good night when Matt speaks and this presentation was no exception – the club members all learned a lot about the background of awards, how to select a competition to enter and some handy tips on the types of images that are likely to score well in different competitions.
Annual exhibition wrap-up
Exhibition coordinator Wayne Wagg provided a wrap-up of the 2019 Exhibition, including the winners of the People’s Choice Awards, Judge’s Awards and the raffle.

Digital Challenges
Album cover – This is the creative Challenge for this year in which you must make an image that could be used as an album cover for an album that already pre-exists, or for an imaginary performer/album of your own choosing.
Hint…..album covers are usually square format
