St David’s Cathedral, Crypt and Belltower

27 July 2019

A group of 15 members visited the beautiful and historic St David?s Cathedral in the city centre.

The Cathedral staff had generously arranged a Dean’s tour, so we were treated to over an hour of interesting facts and anecdotes about the churches rich history and symbolism . We were especially fortunate to be able to tour some parts of the church which are generally not open to the public – the vestry, crypt and Bell Tower.

This w as a fantastic opportunity and a really enjoyable visit!

Special thanks to the Dean, the Very Reverend Richard Humphrey, and the cathedral staff for making the visit a reality.
